Training and Education

Training is an important part of an effective compliance program. Training and education ensures that the university community understands its’ responsibilities and requirements under UC policies and state and federal laws. UC has required training for all employees, which include Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training; UC Ethical Values and Conduct Training; and Cyber Security Awareness Training. There are also other required and recommended specialized trainings based on an employee’s specific role and responsibilities. Required Training for All UC Employees

The following trainings are a system-wide requirement across all UC locations.

  • Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • UC Ethical Values and Conduct Training or Compliance and Conflict of Interest for Researchers
  • Cyber Security Awareness Training
  • UC Workplace Violence Prevention Training
  • UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace
